Our best-selling 5 gallon moonshine still will really let you get the feel of what moonshining is all about! A typical run will net you about 1 gallon of moonshine. The 5 gallon capacity lets you zero in on each part of the run and make perfect cuts. If you’re passionate about moonshining or serious about getting into this as a hobby, then this still is perfect for you.
- Pot – The copper pot has a 5 gallon capacity with brass handles for easy carrying.
- Head with Swan Neck – The head attaches snugly to the pot and the swan neck connects securely to the condenser.
- Temperature Gauge –The gauge is rated in Fahrenheit and Celsius and easily screws into the head of the still.
- Condenser – It has a nozzle at the top, an outlet for catching moonshine at the bottom, and plenty of coil length inside the condenser to cool alcoholic vapors into moonshine. Please note that it does not have a nozzle at the bottom.
Our stills are sturdy, uncomplicated, and are great for beginners and experienced shiners alike. This pot still comes with everything pictured: copper pot, head and swan neck, condensing unit, and a gauge rated in Fahrenheit and Celsius. Our stills are constructed with soldered unions using brass, copper, or tin to achieve perfect impermeability. All soldering and welding is lead free. The pot, head, and condenser have a hammered copper finishing while the swan neck has a smooth copper finishing.
All of our stills are handcrafted by skilled coppersmiths using 100% high quality copper and are capable of distilling a wide variety of spirits. A quick-start guide is included that contains a basic moonshine recipe, links to other great resources for recipes, and detailed information on how to operate the still. All our moonshine stills come with a 2 year warranty against manufacturing defects, but can last an entire lifetime when treated well.

very good
After researching many different beginner whiskey recipes, I decided to go with the simple moonshine recipe that you can obtain from this site. I double distilled the simple moonshine batch, and cut the final distillate to 100 proof. It has a great taste and is smoother than most commercial whiskies available out there. During the distillation process with the still, it worked like a champ.

great starter still
For the price, you can't find another still with the same quality. Make sure you wash out thoroughly and run plenty of steam through before running anything you want to keep.

You guys are great!
A well made pot still hand made to exacting standards. The thermometer is graduated in both Fahrenheit and Centigrade. The copper is thick, polished and expertly worked by human hands. The onion top is precision made to exactly fit to the pot top. Overall, a functional work of art!

Fantastic
I just got my five Gallon, and I can't wait to use it. Tested it for leaks and its tight. It looks fantastic I want to put it up as an art piece (we will see what my wife thinks). The still is great looking and it came super fast, thanks guys I will update you after my first batch.

My still is a fine work of art , hand made by an artist. I almost hate to use it , but I will. If my product turn out as good as the still looks. Cant wait.

Five Gallon Still Review
The still is a very nice piece of equipment. The flavors I have been getting out of it are incredible compared to my stainless steel still. The only issue I have with it, is that there is no easy way to use the condenser. The water in it heats up too fast, and drains too slow, or too fast depending on which you use as your in and out spout. It results in some product lost to evaporation, not a lot, just some. If it was all enclosed or had a watertight lid this would solve the problem. Still, I would recommend it to anyone serious in distilling.

I just received my 5 gal still. it is truly a work of art. Any doubts I had are completely gone. Well made and absolutely beautiful. It heats up quickly and evenly. No leaks and it worked like a charm! I can see many yrs of use ahead My friends are gonna want one soon as they see this art work.I was actually speechless on opening it.
