You don't necessarily need a super complicated recipe, especially if you're a beginner and you're just trying to get the hang of things. Sometimes simple is better. Here's a recipe for our 5 gallon still, which is simple yet allows for a lot of customization:
The main ingredients:
sugar (white is recommended, but you can also use brown): 5kg
boiling water: 10L
fruit juice: 8L
You can put any juice in it that you want; pineapple pear, apple, etc. you can also tinker with the sugar, trying slight less or more to alter the taste. Simple to make, yet endless possibilities!
